Global Design Contest
You could be the winning designer of a brand new LGBTQ+ flag.
Two winners: Judges’ Choice & Community Choice. $5,000 prize fund – all of it goes directly to the winning artists. Entries are free and open worldwide.

How to enter
- Make an original design (AI isn’t banned, but make it personal).
- Submit what you want though we don’t encourage more rainbow mashups.
- Submit via the Google Form or by email to contest@stevedegay.com with the subject line Flag Challenge Entry.
- One submission per person (teams allowed). Submissions are free.
What happens next
- We’ll showcase entries online (website + socials) during the contest.
- Judges’ panel and the community will vote after submissions close.
- Two winners + three honourable mentions announced in January.
Rules at a glance
- Two winners will be awarded from a $5,000 prize pool: one chosen by design experts, one by community vote, plus three honourable mentions.
- Original work: Your design must be your own. If you used AI, disclose it in your submission.
- Public domain: All submissions are released into the public domain (no copyright or royalties).
- Keep it respectful: No hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content.
